When can I start taking Nutrafem?
You may start taking Nutrafem as early as even in your 30s to optimise your energy level and enhance overall well-being. This is because when women approach their late thirties they start to lose collagen, bone mass and experience sagging body tone. Nutrafem helps women to transit smoothly into the perimenopause and menopause stages as they reach their mid-forties. However, women who are pregnant or intending to get pregnant should consult their doctor before taking Nutrafem.


Do I have to take Nutrafem regularly?
It will take some time for your body to balance itself, hence, you should take Nutrafem regularly to avoid any sudden changes that can lead menopause symptoms.
How can I change from HRT to Nutrafem?
Before you stop HRT, it is advisable that you discuss with your doctor the following
suggestions before any changeover is contemplated:

Take both HRT and Nutrafem (two capsule daily) together for a week, before gradually reducing the dose of HRT and increasing the dose of Nutrafem to the optimum level

Stop HRT and start Nutrafem two capsule twice daily and increase the dose of Nutrafem until menopause symptoms are managed. There may be significant menopause symptoms associated with this sudden changeover until the body adjusts. Once your symptoms are controlled, you may reduce the dose of Nutrafem gradually for maintenance.

Is Nutrafem safe for women who cannot take hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to relieve menopause symptoms?
Nutrafem is different from HRT as it consists of natural botanical extracts and does not contain hormones found in HRT. Furthermore, unlike HRT which replaces the loss of estrogen during menopause, Nutrafem is unique such that it assists your body to use its own estrogen more effectively, hence your body gets what it only needs.


I have a history of breast cancer, can I take Nutrafem?
Cell culture studies have shown that Nutrafem does not cause the growth of breast cancer. The ingredients in Nutrafem have have shown to be safe and well tolerated by breast cancer patients. To date, there is no evidence to show that Nutrafem cannot be taken by women with a history of breast cancer.


I have undergone a hysterectomy, can I take Nutrafem?
Women who have undergone a hysterectomy may experience menopause symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats earlier in life. You may take Nutrafem to help ease menopause symptoms and discomfort.


Can I take Nutrafem while taking prescription medications?
Nutrafem has not been shown to cause any side-effects when taken together with prescription medicines. However, as with all supplements, you may want to let your healthcare professional know that you are taking Nutrafem.


Can I take other herbs or supplements together with Nutrafem?
Yes, you can take other herbs or supplements with Nutrafem. Most women above 35 years old need to take calcium and Vitamin D for added bone health.
